Google Promotes Young Artists

Admittedly, this seems like a slightly mainstream post for Wax Artistic, but creativity is still creativity no matter how corporate or self serving... That being said, I was inspired by the ideas of kids all over the country who entered a contest to redesign Google's logo.

Below is one of my favorites from a girl in Iowa.  She describes her work this way, "What if M.C. Escher and his perspective of unreal possibilities became a mascot for Google. He took our understanding of the world around us and re-examined it using his own personal lens. He helps us see possibilities before we could imagine them. Isn't that what Google does today by fostering our own ability to invent and share new ideas?"   Kids say the darndest things!

Haha...love the photo
