Great guest post I caught on Chris Brogen's blog about how artists bring new ideas and directions to social media.

Defy the Gods of Ice and Snow

As some may already know, I have been preparing some time for an extended trip to South America.  Three months is the intended stay, preceded by a week in D.C. for Christmas with the family.  Yesterday, after having cleared my room for the subletter and selecting a backpack's worth of belongings to accompany me, Jason chauffeured through the Seattle tundra to the airport.  The distinction between street, sidewalk and yard had vanished and we forged a path in the urban frontier.  At the terminal, lines coiled around the partitions.  The departure screen was littered with canceled flights.  De-iced planes were able to make it to the runway before having to be de-iced again.  From seat 41-C, I was given the opportunity to read, nap, get acquainted with other passengers and partake in a snack.  The pilots allowed us to deboard and forage for food, only to return to yet another abandoned flight.

Reschedule: Dec. 25, 11:35 PM
